Frequently Asked Questions

Below are answers to the most common questions about our process, pricing, and conditions we treat. If you don’t see what you need, feel free to contact us directly.

Booking & Eligibility

Do I need a referral?

No referral is needed to book an appointment with us. You can schedule your consultation directly through our website. We aim to make the process as simple and accessible as possible.

Who can become a patient at GAIN?

As a board certified allergist, Dr. Jones sees patients from 4 months of age and up across the U.S. and globally through secure telehealth and in-person visits, depending your location.

Do you offer in-person visits?

Yes. GAIN is a hybrid clinic offering both in-person and telehealth appointments. We’ll help you determine which format is best based on your location and care needs during the booking process.

Process & Appointments

What happens before my first appointment?

After scheduling, you’ll complete a secure intake form so Dr. Jones can review your full history before your visit.

How long are consultations?

Initial visits are typically 60 minutes. Follow-up durations will be announced soon.

Will I receive a treatment plan?

Yes. After your visit, you’ll receive a personalized care plan based on your symptoms, history, and needs.

Payment & Pricing

Do you accept insurance?

No. GAIN is a cash-pay clinic. We do not accept or bill insurance.

Can I submit to my insurance for reimbursement?

Yes. We can provide an itemized receipt (superbill) after your visit, which you may submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your plan.

Can I use an HSA or FSA card?

You'll need to confirm eligibility with your provider before booking.

Conditions & Care

What kinds of conditions do you treat?

We treat a wide range of immune-related conditions including food allergies, MCAS, POTS, long COVID, vaccine injury, eczema, asthma, and more. Visit the Conditions We Treat page for a full list.

Will I need testing or labs?

Possibly. Dr. Jones may recommend labs or specialty tests depending on your case. These would be discussed during your consultation and are not included in the appointment fee.

Can you prescribe medication or supplements?

Your treatment plan may include prescription medications, supplements, nutrition recommendations, or lifestyle changes — based on what’s appropriate for your condition and legal in your location.
